Brian was born and raised in Victoria. Prior to attending law school, Brian was involved in the custom millwork and joinery industry in Victoria for over seven years, where he specialized in veneer work. While at the University of Ottawa, Brian majored in Criminology and Psychology, and was awarded the University of Ottawa’s Gold Medal for highest academic standing.

Areas of Practice

Brian first joined Carfra & Lawton as a summer articling student in 2007, followed by his articles in May of 2008.  He was called to the Bar in April of 2009.  Since becoming an associate in 2009, he practices in the areas of insurance defence litigation, municipal law, occupier’s liability, and administrative law.
