Chris was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario, where he grew up playing organized and outdoor hockey. He is still an avid fan of hockey and other sports. Chris completed his law school studies in 2010 at the University of Victoria. He first joined Carfra & Lawton as a summer articling student in 2009 and is now an associate, having been called the BC Bar in 2011.
Areas of Practice
Since becoming an associate at Carfra & Lawton in 2011, Chris practices in the areas of general insurance defence litigation, occupier’s liability defence, personal injury defence, administrative law, property damage, and subrogation claims. Chris has trial experience as lead counsel before the BC Provincial Court, and has also appeared before the BC Supreme Court.
