Kismet is director on the Board of Directors of YM/WCA of Greater Victoria, serving on the Capital Development and Governance task groups. She is a director of the Victoria Bar Association, co-chairing the social event committee and arranging for continuing education courses for the local Bar. She has presented to community groups and insurance industry clients on a variety of legal topics. Kismet was born and raised in Victoria, BC.
Areas of Practice
Practising mainly in the areas of insurance litigation, occupier’s liability and personal injury, Kismet has conducted trials in both the BC Supreme Court and the Provincial Court, and appears in Chambers. Kismet regularly represents clients at mediations as part of her civil litigation practice.
