Jean has worked in the field of civil litigation for more than 20 years, and particularly in the area of personal injury law.  After working in the life insurance industry in Ontario, for the Workers’ Compensation Board in the Northwest Territories, and for family services and symphony non-profit societies in Victoria, Jean found a home in the field of personal injury litigation.  Plaintiffs’ personal injury work was her focus for 15 years, before branching out into defence matters when she joined Carfra & Lawton in 2000.
