Kathy was born and raised in Victoria, BC.  She has worked in the field of civil litigation since 1976, when she commenced her training with the law firm of Matthew, Bryden & Dalton.  In 1980, Kathy joined the firm of MacMinn & Company, where she worked for 24 years with Allan Trann, focusing her career in personal injury law and motor vehicle defence matters.  Since 2004, Kathy has provided paralegal services on a contract basis to various law firms in Victoria, before joining Carfra & Lawton in July of 2009.
