Kelly’s post-graduate studies centred around insurance law, both marine and general, and civil procedure law. She is a past member of the Victoria Bar Association Executive and past member of the Victoria Bar Association Court Liaison Committee.
She has acted as a Sessional Lecturer in Civil Procedure at the University of Victoria Faculty of Law and as a speaker on insurance, liability and mediation related matters with various organizations
Areas of Practice
Kelly has practiced almost exclusively in the insurance defence field. She has considerable experience in presenting cases at the trial level and has presented cases before the Court of Appeal. Kelly also has extensive experience mediating civil actions.
