  • My Bio

Ingrid has practiced law for 30 years exclusively as an insurance defence lawyer. She has had experience in all aspects of insurance defence litigation, including bodily injury claims, medical malpractice cases for BC hospitals, municipal liability, product liability, property claims and environmental contamination claims. Ingrid has settled many complex matters whether by informal negotiations or by formal mediation. Ingrid always takes quick action to assess a new claim, identify the defence options and conduct the necessary investigations to successful implement the defence strategy. Her reputation as a professional and fair lawyer and her ability to communicate effectively has resulted in appreciation from her clients and respect from plaintiff’s counsel. These attributes help her achieve early resolutions to complex cases as well as the issues that arise within those cases.

  • What is your deepest obsession outside of work?

Family has always been of utmost importance to me. My only daughter currently attends SFU and while I enjoy our regular Face Time chats, I mostly love to spend time with her when she comes home. Together, we enjoy hiking with our Bernese Mountain dog, horseback riding, and skiing.
