Sarah E.M. Reay

Sarah has returned to Carfra Lawton as an associate after completing her articles with the firm in 2025–2026. She previously worked at the firm as a summer articled student in 2024.
Sarah maintains a broad civil litigation practice, with experience in insurance defence, personal injury, human rights law, subrogation, and general liability matters. She brings a practical and detail-oriented approach to her legal work, informed by her experience assisting with a variety of litigation matters during both her summer and articling terms with the firm.
Sarah earned her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops. During law school, she was actively involved in student leadership and access to justice initiatives. She served as Vice President of Communications for the TRU Business Law Club and as an Executive Member of the TRU Human Rights Law Club. She also volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, contributing to a project in partnership with the Restorative Justice Association of BC.
