Megan B. MacNeil

Associate

Megan MacNeil practices general insurance defence litigation. Her practice includes personal injury, health law, medical malpractice, occupiers’ liability, human rights law and insurance coverage. Megan has appeared at the Provincial Court of British Columbia and the British Columbia Supreme Court.

Megan joined Carfra Lawton LLP as a summer articled student in 2021 and returned for her 2022/2023 articling year. She was called to the bar in May 2023.

While attending law school, Megan volunteered as a case worker and intake support worker at Community Legal Aid in Windsor, a clinic that offers legal services to low-income and vulnerable people in Windsor-Essex County. Megan also worked as a Research Assistant in migrant law and volunteered as an English and Spanish translator assisting refugee claimants at medical appointments.
